CHARLIE BROWN CAFE~ SOMERSET

Ooo..such a interesting cafe..The CHARLIE BROWN CAFE>.< this cafe was suggested by my cousin as this day me and my brother help her celebrate her birthday so we asked her to choose a place for our dinner..and this cafe is just so prefect for my cousin as she love snoopy :)
Before we have our dinner we went to watch"THE SMURFS" wow..this movie is so nice to watch ...after watching i keep singing la la la la la la..sing a happy song..la la la la la l..smurfs your whole day long...haha...so fun...
This is the CHARLIE'S CAPPUCCINO..S$5.80.this drink is pretty nice,the aroma very fragrant..good..and this is so so..cute>.<.. 
Me and my brother order a ICED CHOCOLATE MILK S$5.60 and ORIGINAL FRAPPE S$6.80..not bad too..but i think the chocolate milk is a bit expensive...
Mmm~~this is the SAUSAGE & PICKLE SANDWICH(FOCACCIA BREAD) S$6.50..i love the sausage very fragrant and nice~~this warm sandwich is very yummy^^with the mustard..fantastic...  
CHICKEN LASAGNE S$9.80...
CROQUE MONSIEUR S$7.80..This is cheesy and nice..2 whole pieces of loaf bread inside have ham and cheese..topping with cheese too...simple but turn out delicious...
This one order by my brother..LUCY'S STRAWBERRY S$6.20..with brownies & cream ice cream S$3.00..so total for this dessert is S$9.20..o my quite expensive..overall for this pancake is average..the ice cream not bad..
And this is order by my cousin..her favourite SNOOPY~~SNOOPY'S CHOCOLATE S$6.50..nice...haha..on the right hand side is a very old story book,this book use to be in the library, now is been placed in this cafe and i was quite shock when i saw the library stamp start from 1978..this book is older them me... >.<
^.< this is the left over jam and have been produced into an art haha...this is done by my brother~~a star with a smiling face mm~~and that how we end our happy day^^ Total spend S$58.00 for three of us...will be visiting this cute cafe again ought their food and beverage is a bit expensive but i still can accept as is located at somerset & a nice place to chill ~~

N & B snacks-Fresh Soya Milk

Freshly made soya milk and beancurd from N & B snacks,i been visiting this shop since 10years plus ago when i have moved to where i staying now until now i still never fail to buy either their pastry or soya milk..i never get sick of it : )it can be my breakfast,lunch or dinner haha>,<my family also like it very much..  this is the beancurd they have either hot or cold and beancurd with syrup or beancurd with soyamilk..if you like glutinous rice ball(tangyuan) then you must try their beancurd with glutinous rice ball inside of the filling is peanut paste:)   
BEANCURD(S$1.50)very yummy and smooth..:P
COLD SOYA MILK(S$1.30)see the marking 'N' mean it has no sugar added ..this few days i have take to much sugar drink(RED BULL)to get me awake for studying my exam so i choose the no sugar soya milk as my breakfast before going to my exam..wah this days was super tire but worth it.. it took me quite a long time to finish the drink..because usually i will buy the soya milk with sugar one..got to said their soya milk is really fresh and delicious most important is a healthy drink ..^^
CHICKEN PIE(S$2.00)their chicken pie very nice i love the crust of the pie very yummy pie good to have one as your breakfast or snack^^

MUSHROOM PIE i love vegetable more than meat so i usually buy their mushroom pie yummy yummy i love it a lot^^this is one of the pastries that my mum and me love it.. sometime my mum will buy this pie for me and herself after she have finish buying things from wet market as our breakfast..i love my mum she will never miss me out haha..>.<  
AH HA..one of my favorite pastries is their CROISSANT yum yum~~since young i will sure ask my mum to buy this with soya milk is a prefect match for me hehe..i remember when i was a kid i rather choose this with soya milk than mcdonald as the two shop is just beside each other..outside crispy inside soft and the aroma mm nice~~
A very simple layout shop(Air-con)with nice beverage and food,which satisfied lots of customer around the neighborhood^^one of the shop i use to get around with friend last time to study and enjoy^^they have quite a few outlet one of it is at block 326 serangoon ave 3..

Wan Chai Hk Kitchen @ NEX

Simple dinner at wanchai hk kitchen~~ i always wanted to try their food especially their baked rice so i decide to have dinner here..but in the end i didn't order their baked rice i end up ordering their mushroom and vegetable noodle(dry)..

~~MUSHROOM AND VEGETABLE NOODLE(dry)~~(S$5.80)there is quite a lot of mushroom with 2 stalk of caixin..i didn't expect that their noodle is very simple~~they serve with a bowl of soup also i end up pouring the soup over the noodle because the noodle is quite plain but the soup is nice~~lucky have the soup if not i wouldn't finish up the noodle..
This is the bowl of soup is quite fragrant~~i order a cup of ice watercress honey drink(S$2.50)quite refreshing drink=)
A very very simple wan chai pork chop bun(S$5.00)..a pieces of lettuce,pork chop,cucumber,tomato and cheese with some sauce..taste very normal..nothing special..A very simple dinner with my mum total spend S$14.25..at nex~~

SNOW ICE @ MEI HEONG YUAN DESSERT(chinatown)


My mum is in love with dessert this few day..today she asked me to go along with her to chinatown just to have some snow ice dessert then go home=.=!i think she really miss this shop dessert..this is her second time visiting this shop the first time she order chendol snow ice..this time again order chendol snow ice,my mum love their chendol snow ice dessert^^but for me this is my first time visiting :) i also in love with their dessert now i understand why my mum went all the way to chinatown just to have their dessert^.<
Mei Heong Yuen Dessert is one of the singapore chinatown heritage brands,they sell snow ice(S$5-6),special dessert,cakes & dumplings and healthy paste..having some snow ice during a hot day cool you down^^or you want to have some warm and fragrant paste this definitely is the right and great place for you!their service staff was all very kind and fast service ought they is quite a lot of customer..  they have quite a range of flavour it took me quite some time to decide which one to choose as you can see from the menu you feel like trying all haha..



This is the steam yam cake(S$2.20) quite delicious very soft yummy^^
My mum actually also wanted to order their cantonese dumpling but i told her look at the other table dumpling it is quite a big one so i scare we can't finish it as we still have 2 big bowl of snow ice..so she said never mind we can take away the dumpling..
In the end we didn't take away as we will bloody full i can't even finish my yam cake..>.<!

Chendol snow ice(S$6.00)order by my mum..and on the right is the sesame snow ice(S$5.00)order by me..the sesame snow ice have a very nice sesame fragrant accompanies with the red bean this dessert is OMG heaven super nice..>.<i rather have this than ice cream..ought i have lots of haagen dazs ice cream in my fridge i would rather come all the way here which took me about 20mins transport time i will still come^^just to eat their dessert..

They have a bottle of brown sugar syrup(gula melaka) for you to add on to your dessert..for my mum she love adding it as for me i find the dessert is very fragrant already so didn't add it :)

THIS SHOP DESSERT IS A MUST TO TRY!

CRYSTAL JADE LA MIAN XLB@ Bugis Junction

WAH^^super happy such a long time never went out together with my mum to go shopping and eat eat there eat eat here..finally we went shopping together after a few month since the last time oh i really love spending time with my mum>.<...because this school term i would be much more free as i no need to go back school on the sat but sometime if there is a need i still have to go back..
Anyway i went to bugis with my mum after shopping at bugis street we went to bugis junction Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao to have our high-tea~~

I love their steamed pork dumpling"xiao long bao" it is very juicy and the both is awesome the dumpling skin is not dry too..eat it with the ginger and vinegar proved Mmm..close your eyes and you feel like you are flying.. : p  Their red bean paste pancake not bad too..not too sweet..i like it..

I love radish and pickled radish~~in kue,pastry,egg ~~yum yum~~

Order 2 cups of chinese tea~~free refill..not bad~~quite a great high-tea^^spending with my mum..
Overall i love their steam pork dumpling the most RECOMMENDED: )i kind of miss their char siew pastry didn't bought it on this day+.+ahah..should buy it..Total spend S$27.80..

Tiong Shian Porridge @New Bridge Rd

After a whole day of fun activities at leisure park kallang of bowling and singing k with my cousin, brother and his friend we went straight down to chinatown to refill my cousin and brother stomach with this awesome Tiong Shian Porridge, their porridge is quite famous and their business hour is from evening to midnight and it will be quite pack during all time..
 They sell lots of variety of porridge like fish,chicken,pork,cuttlefish,century egg and claypot frog porridge..etc 
 This is order by my cousin sliced fish porridge(S$3.20)..i like this because there is no fishy smell..nice..and there is quite a lot of sliced fish in it worth it..
 And this order by my brother the chicken porridge(S$3.20)..delicious..
Their porridge is very nice, not expensive and is very worth it as there is quite a lot of meat in the porridge..their raw fish is pretty good too but this time i didn't order..came here quite a few time and always see lots of people will have claypot frog porridge on their table..mmm..my next visit must try it^^

MARUTAMA RAMEN @THE CENTRAL

Went to Marutama Raman @The Central to have my lunch with my friend kester after a orientation at shatec recipes restaurant..kester said that this shop is quite famous for their ramen when went in to this shop there was quite a lot of people and that time was about 3pm something..i love the chicken soup base it was good and very fragrant >.<
 I order a Marutama Ramen(S$12)..with the topping of seaweed and spring onion and roast pork,i love it so much^^..the price of the topping i can't remember..kester order Nama katashi ramen is a spicy chicken soup base didn't like it..i still love the original non spicy chicken soup base..^^
Gyoza order by kester..look spicy but is not spicy at all..didn't like it much the good thing is only the vinegar..=.=
This meal is treated by kester..total about S$40..something..for 2 ramen plus topping, gyoza and drinks..will come to visit again they have good ramen..next time will try their half boil seasoned egg because most of their customer order it so it must be quite nice..^^

KOO KEE YONG TOW FOO MEE @CHINATOWN

Missed koo kee yong tow foo..finally get to eat again^^i remember the first time when i try koo kee yong tow foo is my parent who bought me there and they told me to try it as is very delicious..well my first impression when i look at it is like.. very simple since like nothing special and the noodle like not enough for me..But after trying it i was wrong..their yong tow foo is so nice and yummy, one spoon of mee plus the soup and one bite of yong tow foo dipped with the sweet or chili sauce Mmmm..that feeling is so good and shiok!!
The portion is just nice..
Lucky my cousin order a cup of ice our plum juice if not i will sweat till crazy..because the place was pretty hot..the sour plum juice not bad very nice but don't know is from which drink stall..lol..forget to take photo=.=
Hakka-style yong tow foo^^..spent total S$7.00 for set2(normal size yong tow foo+egg noodle)@S$3.50 and set4(big size yong tow foo)@S$3.50

Look at the queue..this day was a tuesday the rest of the stall was quite quiet but this stall was busying doing their business if you come on the weekend woo the queue would be more longer..  
On the normal day they have three person helping out in the stall during weekday..on the weekend i not sure is there more helper? This is at chinatown

YOSHINOYA @ BUGIS JUNCTION

YOSHINOYA is always my favourite restaurant since i was a kid and i can finish up the normal bowl size of rice within 10min imaging how fast it was for a kid to finish up a bowl of salmon rice within 10min mean i really love it haha..and i will always order their salmon bowl just love it so much together with their miso soup prefect!! But for this day i order a teriyaki chicken and salmon combo value meal shared it with my cousin. 
TERIYAKI CHICKEN AND SALMON COMBO VALUE MEAL
 While i was queuing up for ordering, i realize that their rice can upgrade to brown rice by adding just S$0.50..so i upgrade it as i love brown rice..hoho..healthy and delicious.. 
 My favourite!! SALMON coated with crispy bread crumbs with the mayo sauce on it..yum.yum..this is the thing i never get tire of eating : p
 Teriyaki chicken this is my brother favourite, their sauce is special because is their yoshinoya's secret recipe teriyaki sauce..oh yes if you want to have a healthy meal you can request for skinless teriyaki chicken =)
MISO SOUP 
Their miso soup will never goes wrong with any of their meal^^

Spent S$10.10 for this meal by me and my cousin..
