Is weekend mean is my time to cook for the family^^This time i cooked sweet and sour fish fillet and bean sprouts with baby carrot and leek in vegetarian mushroom sauce, bought the ingredients the day before with my mum at ntuc supermarket..while we are choosing red snapper fish there is a couple standing beside asking whether can we help them to choose their fish because there said my mum look very professional when choosing the fish..wow..i am sure this sentence make my mum day haha..: P And so my mum help them to choose..overall the fish was crispy..not bad my dad love it^^Plus the bean sprouts and a bowl of rice mm.. delicious meal..
Ingredients:
Green capsicum- 1
Red capsicum- 1
Pineapple- some
Onion- 1
Red snapper fish(boneless)- 1 whole pcs
Olive oil-for frying
Marinade:
Light soya sauce-1/2 tbsp
Pepper-1tsp
Salt-1 tsp
Corn flour- for coating
Sauce:
Whop Hup pineapple sweet and sour sauce-200g
Water- 50ml
1.Cut the fish into fillet size,mix with light soya sauce,pepper and salt.
2.Coat with corn flour and marinate for 15mins.
3.Remove the seed of red and green capsicum,cut into cubes.
4.Cut onions and pineapple into cubes.
5.Fry marinated fish in hot oil until golden brown,remove and drain on paper towel.
6.Stir-fry onion,pineapple,red and green capsicum.
7.Heat up the pineapple sweet and sour sauce and mix in water.
8.Add in stir-fried onion,pineapple,red and green capsicum and fried fish fillet in sauce,mix well.
9.READY TO SERVE : )

I have confession to make.Before my family emigrated to NZ I never tried anything else but dishes from my home country.When I was first invited to eat sweet and sour dish..I thought noway this is going to taste right:)
