Pineapple Rolls~黄梨饼

This is my first bake of year 2012, pineapple tart.After my orientation i still have the energy to bake haha~its been pretty long i have not bake pineapple tart i think the last time is about 3 years back,that time i still cook my own pineapple jam,but this time i will just buy the ready made jam it so easy the taste not bad too~ my dad request me to bake more chinese new year cookies because he said the chinese new year goodies at outside everywhere is selling quite expensive~but i am quite busy with my internship now so unable to bake much cookies..But i will still find time to bake this again..i love this~
This is my family favorite (pineapple tart) nice cookies~
Recipes
Ingredients:
120g-butter
30g-icing sugar
140g-plain flour
40g-cornflour
1/2tsp vanilla essence
2 egg yolks(beaten)
pineapple filling
GLAZE:egg yolk(beaten)-1
METHOD:
  1. combine butter,icing sugar,plain flour,corn flour and vanilla essence into mixer,mix briefly.
  2. add in beaten egg yolks to form a soft dough.
  3. roll flat dough and cut into stripes then place pineapple filling on it and roll up.
  4. glaze surface with egg yolk.
  5. bake in preheated oven at 170C for 20-25 mins,cool down and store in airtight jars.
