男人对女人说的承诺,
说到就得做到,
而不是说出了,没记在心里,
因为女人啊。。女人的弱点。。
就是会把这些承诺,小事情放在心里,
这就是女人的心,
也因为这样女人都会把每件事情的小细节做的很好,
然后大细节都是留给男人做,
这就是所谓的完美。。
也因为这弱点会很容易伤到女人的心。。
所以男人不要乱说或说说而已,
因为女人开不起承诺的玩笑,会把它给当真的来看待,
所以男人必须记得遵守对女人说过的承诺哦。。

Mini Raisin Scones

Scone.. anyone? scone is a type of small Scottish quick bread and the texture is in between the bread and cookies...chewy yum yum~~and is very easy to bake,does not require long resting time..this mini scone is very delicious~my mum love this:)usually scone goes with jam or cream..but i didn't spread any jam or cream by eating plain is already so yummy~thumb up for this! will bake it again soon..^^ 
..Enjoy it with a cup of tea,taste great(relax mood on)..
RECIPES:
CAKE FLOUR-250G
BAKING POWDER-15G
SUGAR-80G
SALT-PINCH
BUTTER-80G
BLACK RAISIN-90G
MILK-50ML
EGG YOLK-1
WHOLE EGG-1
MILK(FOR BRUSHING)
STEPS:
  1. Mix sugar,butter,salt,mix well.
  2. Add in egg & yolk,mix well.
  3. Add in flour(1/2 first)*around 125g flour & baking powder,mix.
  4. Follow by pouring milk into mixture,mix.
  5. Then add in the rest of the flour,mix well & form into dough.
  6. Add in raisin,mix.
  7. Dust flour on table top and put the dough,shape the dough into rectangle shape,place in plastic bag & rest in chiller for 15mins.
  8. After chill roll out dough,use circle cutter to cut out dough.*If you reuse the dough for more than 3 time the scone will be harden.
  9. Slightly brush some milk on the dough before baking.(This is to give a shiny look)
  10. Bake at 200C for 20-25mins. 
Does this look like a scone Christmas tree?...eem 70% like ba~haha^^christmas coming soon still haven decide how am i going to celebrate it ?.?clubbing?maybe..this year i want to wear a christmas hat XP..
HAIZ..got to stop thinking about christmas first..my exam is on the next week and this week is my study week,today going to study very hard..after exam then play super hard haha >.<..if i burnt the book into ash and drink it and it work..image how good it is...lol..okay just kidding..

CUSTARD CREAM PUFF & CHOCOLATE ECLAIR

Choux pastry time! This time round does not require any mixing bowl machine because we are using saucepan and electric stove..

Nice puff isn't it..mmm...yes..the piping part needed some skill try not to make a tail if not there will be a darker colour tail coming out..but you still can save it by slightly tapping a bit of water to tap down the tail before bake.

I use to think that choux pastry is much more difficult level for me..i am wrong as long you follow the correct step and don't miss any single step of baking..your product will be 99% success ^^

    
PUFF RECIPES:
WATER-225G
BUTTER-125G
SALT-4G
SUGAR-5G
BREAD FLOUR(SIFTED)-160G
EGGS-5
STEPS:

  1. Place water,butter,salt & sugar into saucepan,bring to boil.
  2. Add in flour & stir till it is totally absorbed in the boiled mixture,ensure the mixture does not stick to the sides of the pot
  3. Remove from the heat,stir until not more steam in a mixing bowl.
  4. Mix batter at low speed and add in the egg one by one,mix well.
  5. Place the batter into piping bag & pipe into desires shapes on silicon paper.
  6. Bake at 200C for 25mins.(do not open oven door,during baking)
CUSTARD RECIPES:
500G-MILK
150G-SUGAR
6-EGG YOLKS
30G-CORN FLOUR
15G-CUSTARD POWDER
10G-VANILLA ESSENCE
STEPS:
  1. Heat milk in saucepan.
  2. Mix corn flour, yolk and sugar,vanilla essence well.
  3. Pour milk over yolk mixture and add in custard power,mix well.
FOR chocolate eclair: USE melted cooking chocolate to glaze it :) & cut the puff into almost half & pipe in custard filling.

FOR cream puff: cut puff almost half & pipe in custard filling & top with some snow powder. or you can just pipe in whipped cream.

The cream puff & eclair was very nice and the custard is yummy :)
Chill your puff first before you enjoy it..we added some melted chocolate into our custard cream taste awesome,not sweet..they love it..

Blueberry & Strawberry MUFFIN

 My VERY LAST pastry lesson at shatec.. :'( my group member in pastry sze hua & kester..will miss you two guys badly..its been wonderful & lucky baking with your two guys:) & i learn a lot of knowledge of baking.. This lesson we baked muffin and scone..both are super nice! this muffin is a much more spongy texture..i bought back home 1 strawberry and 4 blueberry muffin back home..the next morning when i saw the bread case..you know what? it left only 2 muffin..the other 3 muffin had gone into someone else stomach..consider quite fast..haha i still don't know who eaten it so fast..^^mean is pretty tempting and nice hehe..  
 BLUEBERRY MUFFIN~lovely colour isn't it?..emm maybe 
WE TOOK MORE BLUEBERRY FILLING~~HAHA~: P 
STRAWBERRY MUFFIN~~saw that! the muffin is bleeding..

RECIPES(6pcs)
BUTTER(cold)- 50G
MARGARINE- 75G
SUGAR- 90G
SALT- PINCH
EGGS- 2
PLAIN FLOUR(sieve)- 150G
BAKING POWDER(sieve)- 5G
BLUEBERRY FILLING- 50G
MILK- 30ML
STEPS:
  1. Mix butter, margarine,sugar,salt in mixing bowl,mix till creamy.
  2. Add in egg,mix well.
  3. Add in sieved flour & baking powder.
  4. Pour in the milk,mix well.
  5. Fold in the blueberry filling.
  6. Pipe the mixture into the muffin cup,fill up 2/3 of the cup only.
  7. Bake for 180C for 15-20mins. 

Those who love spongy texture muffin..you may want to try baking this..you can change to your desire filling^^emm maybe adding some cranberries or chocolate chip for those who love chocolate^^

Anpanman bun---面包超人

HAHA~~such a cute bun!!you know why i shaped the dough into a anpanman面包超人 face because my friend(kester) said that one of my other friend(sze hua) face look like anpanman..and last week i have my baking & pastry lesson,this time round we baked red bean bun so i shaped one of the dough into anpanman for my friend^^from that moment i felt that i am addicted to make such kind of cartoon or cute bun..lol!! So i baked some bun at home and again this anpanman bun is specially make for my friend sze hua...hahah.. 
 Ought this anpanman bun didn't have the eyebrow but it still look so awesome to me ; P but..the right side of the forehead since like have been banged or hit by something else..anyway never mind it still look alright^^i used chocolate chip and melt it and roll it out to form the eye..this bun is plain..kosong one.. 
 This not bad too right..i love emotion bun>.< this is a butter bun....i love this =P

PIZZA BUN

3pieces of HAM,CHEESE,MUSHROOM PASTA SAUCE,ONION & MUST HAVE BBQ SAUCE!!

HOT-DOG,BACON,HAM, CHEESE,ONION, MUSHROOM PASTA SAUCE & BBQ SAUCE..


RECIPES (sweet bun)9pcs:
Instant dry yeast-8g
Bread flour-280g
Sugar-35g
Milk powder-15g
Water(cold)-125g
Eggs-1no
Salt-4g
Butter(cold,cube)-35g
STEPS:
  1. mix yeast,flour,sugar,milk powder into mixing bowl and whisk at low speed to mix well.
  2. add in cold water and egg mix well.
  3. then add in salt,follow by the cubed cold butter,whisk well. 
  4. Fermentation the dough for 1-1.5hrs or till dough it size.
  5. after fermentation,punch down the dough or use finger tip to press around.
  6. divide the dough,each dough 60g,shape the dough into round shape.
  7. (beaching)-rest for 10mins on table,use plastic bag to cover the dough.
  8. after rest ,shape the dough to your desire shape and add any ingredient that you like.
  9. Proof again for another 20-30mins.
  10. egg wash.
  11. send to bake at 200C for 15mins or until golden brown.
*after bake you can brush some melted butter over the bun to make it more shiny and nice.
This the fermentation part after 1 hr the dough had rise to double it size..and is time to punch down or use finger tip to press the dough..
Beaching time~~
There it go.. look so yummy!^^comment from those who have eaten all this bread said is very nice..so happy..hardly see my brother eat bread but this time he ask me to bake more pizza bun he said is super nice he like it..wow..^^
Is time to pack it and give it to my friend..left some bun for my family: ) haha..you know what..when my dad came home and saw all this bun on the table he asked who bought all this bun?..then my mum told him is your daughter who bake it..my dad said the look of the bun look like those bun selling at the bakery store..haha..

CHARLIE BROWN CAFE~ SOMERSET

Ooo..such a interesting cafe..The CHARLIE BROWN CAFE>.< this cafe was suggested by my cousin as this day me and my brother help her celebrate her birthday so we asked her to choose a place for our dinner..and this cafe is just so prefect for my cousin as she love snoopy :)
Before we have our dinner we went to watch"THE SMURFS" wow..this movie is so nice to watch ...after watching i keep singing la la la la la la..sing a happy song..la la la la la l..smurfs your whole day long...haha...so fun...
This is the CHARLIE'S CAPPUCCINO..S$5.80.this drink is pretty nice,the aroma very fragrant..good..and this is so so..cute>.<.. 
Me and my brother order a ICED CHOCOLATE MILK S$5.60 and ORIGINAL FRAPPE S$6.80..not bad too..but i think the chocolate milk is a bit expensive...
Mmm~~this is the SAUSAGE & PICKLE SANDWICH(FOCACCIA BREAD) S$6.50..i love the sausage very fragrant and nice~~this warm sandwich is very yummy^^with the mustard..fantastic...  
CHICKEN LASAGNE S$9.80...
CROQUE MONSIEUR S$7.80..This is cheesy and nice..2 whole pieces of loaf bread inside have ham and cheese..topping with cheese too...simple but turn out delicious...
This one order by my brother..LUCY'S STRAWBERRY S$6.20..with brownies & cream ice cream S$3.00..so total for this dessert is S$9.20..o my quite expensive..overall for this pancake is average..the ice cream not bad..
And this is order by my cousin..her favourite SNOOPY~~SNOOPY'S CHOCOLATE S$6.50..nice...haha..on the right hand side is a very old story book,this book use to be in the library, now is been placed in this cafe and i was quite shock when i saw the library stamp start from 1978..this book is older them me... >.<
^.< this is the left over jam and have been produced into an art haha...this is done by my brother~~a star with a smiling face mm~~and that how we end our happy day^^ Total spend S$58.00 for three of us...will be visiting this cute cafe again ought their food and beverage is a bit expensive but i still can accept as is located at somerset & a nice place to chill ~~

STRAWBERRY SHORT CAKE~mum birthday~

I can't believe i made it^^I bake my very first sponge cake successfully: )that morning i wake up early to go wet market before 7a.m with my mum, we bought some steamboat ingredient as our mooncake festival lunch..this day is on the 11/9 sun we celebrate one day before early is because my brother have school the following day.. 
My mum birthday fall on the 12/9 on the mooncake festival day..so while we buying our ingredient i still thinking whether want to buy baking ingredient to bake a cake for my mum or just buy a cake from a bakery?!?! If i want to bake a cake what cake should i bake that time in my mind is either chill mango cheese cake or strawberry shortcake..in the end i make up my mind after walking one round around the supermaket..haha..i decide to bake STRAWBERRY SHORT CAKE^^so this is how my cake idea came up..
 Ingredients:
SPONGE CAKE:
optima sponge mix(bake king)-250g
egg-4no
water-50ml
FILLING:
fresh strawberry-10no
whipping cream-250g(whipped)
BUTTER CREAM:
strawberry paste-few drop
butter-250g
icing sugar-300g
STEPS:
1.Mix all sponge cake ingredient for 12min.
2.After mix,pour into cake tin and bake in preheat oven for 45min at 180C.
3.After done,cool down and slide into half.
4.Spread a layer of whipped cream on the sliced cake and place a few pieces of sliced strawberry then spread a layer of whipped cream again,place the other cake on it.(chill for 1hr)
5.Mix butter and icing sugar till light and creamy.divide out 3/4 mixture and mix with a few drop of strawberry paste.(for the cake topping).
6.After the cake have chilled,decorate it with step 5 butter cream.
The butter cream after mixing with strawberry paste and portioning...and layering with whipped cream and sliced strawberry..
Next time i want to put more strawberry..^^
Before decorate..haha mixed with some strawberry paste..i getting there left the topping and decoration..
The design of the cake used some dragee..i love using dragee for decorating^^and strawberry...some pink sparkling powder on top of the cream ^.<..the design of this cake only took me less than 5mins to think..simple and sweet^^
My mum was so happy..happy birthday mum ought your birthday is a very simple one but i using all my love heart to bake this cake^^that why it turn out so lovely and nice..haha..the inside of the cake look nice..just a bit more cream and strawberry will do..
Not only my mum was happy but me myself was overjoy too..my family love this cake not that sweet not too much cream mm..good..but i still have to improve..decorating cake is fun too..

N & B snacks-Fresh Soya Milk

Freshly made soya milk and beancurd from N & B snacks,i been visiting this shop since 10years plus ago when i have moved to where i staying now until now i still never fail to buy either their pastry or soya milk..i never get sick of it : )it can be my breakfast,lunch or dinner haha>,<my family also like it very much..  this is the beancurd they have either hot or cold and beancurd with syrup or beancurd with soyamilk..if you like glutinous rice ball(tangyuan) then you must try their beancurd with glutinous rice ball inside of the filling is peanut paste:)   
BEANCURD(S$1.50)very yummy and smooth..:P
COLD SOYA MILK(S$1.30)see the marking 'N' mean it has no sugar added ..this few days i have take to much sugar drink(RED BULL)to get me awake for studying my exam so i choose the no sugar soya milk as my breakfast before going to my exam..wah this days was super tire but worth it.. it took me quite a long time to finish the drink..because usually i will buy the soya milk with sugar one..got to said their soya milk is really fresh and delicious most important is a healthy drink ..^^
CHICKEN PIE(S$2.00)their chicken pie very nice i love the crust of the pie very yummy pie good to have one as your breakfast or snack^^

MUSHROOM PIE i love vegetable more than meat so i usually buy their mushroom pie yummy yummy i love it a lot^^this is one of the pastries that my mum and me love it.. sometime my mum will buy this pie for me and herself after she have finish buying things from wet market as our breakfast..i love my mum she will never miss me out haha..>.<  
AH HA..one of my favorite pastries is their CROISSANT yum yum~~since young i will sure ask my mum to buy this with soya milk is a prefect match for me hehe..i remember when i was a kid i rather choose this with soya milk than mcdonald as the two shop is just beside each other..outside crispy inside soft and the aroma mm nice~~
A very simple layout shop(Air-con)with nice beverage and food,which satisfied lots of customer around the neighborhood^^one of the shop i use to get around with friend last time to study and enjoy^^they have quite a few outlet one of it is at block 326 serangoon ave 3..

Wan Chai Hk Kitchen @ NEX

Simple dinner at wanchai hk kitchen~~ i always wanted to try their food especially their baked rice so i decide to have dinner here..but in the end i didn't order their baked rice i end up ordering their mushroom and vegetable noodle(dry).. 
~~Their menu~~
~~MUSHROOM AND VEGETABLE NOODLE(dry)~~(S$5.80)there is quite a lot of mushroom with 2 stalk of caixin..i didn't expect that their noodle is very simple~~they serve with a bowl of soup also i end up pouring the soup over the noodle because the noodle is quite plain but the soup is nice~~lucky have the soup if not i wouldn't finish up the noodle..
This is the bowl of soup is quite fragrant~~i order a cup of ice watercress honey drink(S$2.50)quite refreshing drink=)
A very very simple wan chai pork chop bun(S$5.00)..a pieces of lettuce,pork chop,cucumber,tomato and cheese with some sauce..taste very normal..nothing special..A very simple dinner with my mum total spend S$14.25..at nex~~
