PIGLET MOONCAKE-chinatown tai chong kok confectionery(hue kee)

Mid autumn festive is coming mean is time to eat mooncakes^^and is time to get some piglet in the basket to chew on it haha..i missed the those piglet mooncake selling at neighborhood bakeries alot it remind me of lots of childhood memories.. last time me and my brother will sure ask our mum to buy some piglet with a ribbon around the neck mooncake in the basket for us to eat^.<..i love the crust but not the filling same goes to my brother..i am so kind of miss the aroma of the piglet mooncake that my house opposite bakery used to sell but they have already close down since this year..so sad haiz..but never mind i will get it somewhere else..

My cousin helped me to buy some piglet mooncake as i was craving for it this few day lol..she bought 4 piglet mooncake at bishan junction 8 mooncake fair from chinatown tai chong kok confectionery(hue kee) actually i wanted a plain one without the filling but this one have the filling+.+ this is my first time trying their piglet mooncake so never mind i get to try a new thing..

 i missed the piglet in the basket but this one is in a plastic box but its okay the most important is the mooncake hoho..their piglet is all handmade i guess some of it is a bit out of shape..if i not wrong it should be S$5.80 per piglet..

The filling of the piglet mooncake..the crust was nice not oily and the texture is just nice not to hard not to soft as for the filling..for me i find the filling is a bit sweet..you can get their mooncakes at junction 8 mooncake fair or the below address :
